Veluwse Israel Vrijstaat

Auditorium

With the Auditorium we showed that recycled building materials can be used to make a new building to look as good as if new materials were used, and as with the Dovecote, we also demonstrated that Bauhaus not the ‘style’ to turn to for design style. All the charm of the indigenous culture of the Netherlands is reflected in this structure, which we built to function as a place of worship, meetings, and holy feasts.

Sadly due to a fit of madness by extremists working for the Council of Putten, this building was utterly smashed in a blitz raid by said council, and unceremoniously dumped into rubbish skips and carted off. More on this under the ‘Roundup’ heading.
